partial anterior circulation syndrome PACS
: cortical stroke in middle/anterior cerebral artery areas
any two of
unilateral weakness (and/or sensory deficit) of face, arm, and leg

higher cerebral dysfunction (dysphasia, visuospatial disorder)

Lacunar syndrome LACS: subcortical stroke due to small vessel disease. No evidence of higher cerebral dysfunction and
