Those at risk of pre-eclampsia should take 75mg of Aspirin OD from 12 W until birth
chronic kidney disease
autoimmune : SLE and antiphospholipid
hypertensive disease during previous preg
T2DM, T1DM
normal pregnancy
bp falls in the first trimester (particularly in diastolic) until 24 weeks
BP then increases to normal by term
hypertension in pregnancy
systolic >140mmHg, diastolic > 90 mmHg
increase above booking of >30mmHg systolic or >15mg diastolic
Pre- exsisting hypertension
140/90 before 20 W
no protein urea/odema
Pre- eclampsia
PIH + proteinuria (>0.3g/day)
