Formations dans le domaine financier

• Fondements de la comptabilité: principes comptables de base
• Analyse de la viabilité financière

Very useful courses for the financial agents

Ateliers pour Assistants Administratifs

These workshops were important for Ms McFadden in her new role of Administrative Assistant for DGA CIS.

Peer-to-Peer info session on the use of social media and digital resources

useful for the development of the competencies of Ms Bruynel, Internal Communication Officer of DGA CIS in the area of the digital transformation and for implementing the communication plan in relation to key enabling technologies

Communication:

Aldazova.

SAP Business Objects - Web Intelligence

Very useful and practical course, but afterwards the trainee does not have access to the SAP Business Objects. There should be a way to give access to BO after having followed the course, since it could be profitable to DGA CIS.

OTHER COMMENTS

Some trainings in 2016 were necessary and required in the scope of the different duties of the concerned colleagues, and are of course useful and should continue:

  • Evacuation Steward
  • Secourisme d'entreprise
  • BLS/AES (Basic Life Support)
  • Equipier de première intervention
  • Emergency Care Team
  • Sensibiliser et motiver à la sécurité
  • Language courses

PLAN Teambuilding

it allowed the Unit members to get to know each other better, and in a different context

allowed to clarify the mission of the Unit

to get a better understanding of what each Sector/Team is doing

PM2 training (different levels, including certification)

Creating a common project management language

Facilitating interinstitutional mobility (as it is also used by other institutions)

AGORA (different modules)

Allowed the Service Desk (Helpline) to better understand this new and important tool for the GSC, preparing for providing optimal support

ITIL training (different levels)

Effective use of acquired knowledge in customising and implementing ITSM best practices for DGA CIS such as processes, Service Catalogues, Operational Level Agreements, Service Level Agreements, and CMDB

TOGAF Foundation, Gartner EA (Enterprise Architecture) Summit, Open Group seminar

Essential to apply adequately and only when relevant the EA (Enterprise Architecture) methodology at the GSC

COBIT foundation

Useful to understand how COBIT can be exploited by us as a reference tool, e.g. during our annual IT strategy review, in our CIS processes definition, to measure and improve processes maturity, to check the health of our IT Governance, etc.

Project Server

Fundamental to get an overview of the whole EPM (Encryption Management Platform?) platform.

Contributing to have less dependence on consultants

Empowering Portfolio officers (reporting, configuration aspects)

COURSES TO BE IMPROVED

COURSES THAT STOOD OUT:

very useful as it explained details on what the participant was already doing in practice for more than a year

the audience was too diverse (ranging from very experienced developer to novice developers)

too many topics were covered during this course: everything was mentioned briefly

Wide variety of interesting security-related topics presented, both server-side and client side

Instructor had deep knowledge of the subject

Good balance of theory and practice

Devoxx conference Java technologies

Web Application Security (WAS)

Umbraco Fundamentals & MVC and Editor Experience Masterclass

Very useful training for the start-up of 2 implementation projects using Umbraco

helped the team defining implementation approach and gaining a better understanding of how to develop/customise the Umbraco CMS platform

User Experience Fundamentals

valuable introductory course giving insights on industry standards in the User Experience domain

very relevant as the Front-Office sector creates user-facing applications (web sites, web/mobile apps)
