Explain what is MRP?
-MRP is concern about production scheduling and inventory control.It is material control system that tend to keep adequate level to ensure the requirement material are available when needed.
What are the objectives of MRP?
Maintain the lowest possible level of inventory
Plan activities such manufacturing, delivery schedules, and purchasing
Ensure the availability of materials, components, and products for planned production and for customer delivery.

Bill of materials (BOM)
contain information on every item or assembly require to produce an item. The availability of information on each item such as part number, description, quantity per assembly, next higher assembly. lead times, and quantity per end item must be obtain.

What are the challenges in MRP?
Quantity demanded=is a term used to describe the total amount of goods or services demanded at any given point in time.
Timing of demand=total demand between now and the anticipated time for the delivery after the next one if a reorder is made now to replenish the inventory.
Quantity supplied=quantity supplied describes the amount of goods or services that are supplied at a given market price.
Timing of supply=total time require to delivery goods to end user.
