Frankenstein Characters
Caroline Beaufort
She is Victor's mother. Her father died and after that, she married Alphonse. She died of illness right before Victor went to college at the University of Ingolstadt.
Victor Frankenstein
Victor is the narrator of most of the story. He is very dedicated to his research and made the creation, in which he was not happy about because of the stress that the evil creation put on him. He was very emotional and often felt guilt because of all of the crimes that the creation committed.
Elizabeth Lavenza
She is adopted by the Frankenstein's since she was an orphan and a beggar. She grew up close to Victor even though she was a much calmer person, while he was the opposite.

Alphonse Frankenstien
Victor's father who helps Victor through everything. He allows Victor to travel to England before marrying Elizabeth, in order to study and research how he is going to make another creature like the creation. When Victor ends up in prison on the land he reaches on his voyage home, Alphonse comes and visits him. He brings Victor home with him after he is released from court.
Robert Walton
The sailor that is writing letters to his sister Margaret Saville at the beginning and end of the book. He explains in these letters how he is lonely and how he is proud of himself for becoming friends with the Captain and how he didn't think that he would make any friends on his voyage across the ocean.
Margaret Saville
Victor's sister who is receiving the letters from Robert Walton, the sailor.
Henry Clerval
He is Victor's closest friend growing up. He was the son of a merchant of Geneva. He loved to read and and write music and stories. He was killed by the creation in England since the creation was angry with Victor for not making a female creation to accompany him.
William Frankenstein
Frankenstein's brother who we meet at the house. He is later strangled to death by the creation in the woods.
Justine M.
She is a close family friend who is living with them. She accused herself of the crime of murdering William even though she was innocent and it was the creation who did it. This causes Victor a lot of stress and guilt since he believes it was his responsibility since he mad the creation, but he can't accuse himself because he was absent when the crime was committed.
M. Krempe
He was the professor at the University of Ingolstadt who told Victor that he had been studying all the wrong books because all the books he was reading were ancient.
M. Waldman
He was the professor at the University of Ingolstadt who encouraged Victor to purse and keep following his dreams. They actually formed a very strong bond and he provided Victor with books he wanted.
