earthquakes occur in long narrow bands on all three types of plate boundary both on the land and in the sea. Volcanoes also occur in long narrow bands. The largest band is called the Pacific ring of fire and it goes around the entire pacific ocean. They are found at constructive and destructive plate boundaries.

Freeze-thaw weathering is when water gets in cracks of the rocks. When the temperature goes below freezing the water freezes and turns to ice. This adds pressure and breaks the rock into pieces.

HICS- personal hygiene e.g showering, bathing, kitchen appliances e.g. dishwashers, washing machines, gardening e.g. hosepipes and other luxuries e.g. washing cars and filling pools.
LICS- many people don't have piped water and rely on women and children walking to the nearest water source. Due to difficulty getting water it is used sparsely e.g. washing up done by hand.
