Electric quantities
Voltage or tension is the energy that a battery or generator can provide for each electron. It is measured in volts (V).
Electric current is the charge, or number of electrons, that flows through a conductor per second
The resistance of the component is the quotient of the potential difference across it over the current flowing through it.

Types of circuit
Parallel circuits
The potential difference of each element is the same, but the
current that flows through each branch is different.
Mixed circuits
They maintain the current that flows through the elements
in series, and the voltage of the elements in parallel.
Series circuits
The current that flows through all the elements is identical, and the total voltage is the sum of the voltages across each element.
