The most fundamental part of Google Docs is that it simply is a word document so it can easily be used to write papers. The best part is it automatically saves so you never have to worry about losing your work or saving it to the wrong place and losing it.

It is very easy to use the spreadsheets and know they are saved due to automatic saving. It also would be cool to have a spreadsheet for every student and share it with them for grade monitoring.
