- - - - The manors or farms would be a pull factor because they were safe areas with fertile soil for farming. With a farm, the serfs were bound to the land, which was good for the noble.
    - - Feudalism in Medieval Europe helped maintain order. The highest rank was a king or queen and the lowest was a serf. In between those ranks were lords and ladies, knights, and peasants. Royals, lords and ladies, and knights were referred to as nobles, because they were the richer classes.
    - - As the religion is a push, it also a pull because if you strictly believed in Christianity, you would want to go to the catholic churches of Medieval Europe. These churches also made universities, like University of Oxford.
  - - - The Black Death was a bubonic plague that spread from the Gobi desert in Asia to Europe during the Middle Ages. Signs of the black death were black blotches and painful lumps all over ther body, which leads to their death. The disease was spread through fleas that drank rat blood and bit humans. It was hard to avoid, this plague, but it started to go away during colder weathers.
    - - The religion in Medieval Europe was strictly christianity, so anyone that didn't believed would be tortured until conversion or killed if not. These punishments would include hanging, beheading, and more.
    - - These wars led to many problems. Many people and knights died, there was possible shortages, and no one was safe during the wars.One of the main wars were the Crusades, which were wars over Holy land.
- - - - The architecture of Japan is a beautiful piece of art. The architecture would be a pull factor because it would make the island more appealing and interesting. The colors of these structures are also very eye popping. There are many little designs on them and would make it a great place to live.
    - - All the natural resources that can be found the land can make some nice things. Since Japan has a lot of natural resources, you wouldn't need to trade and travel, but you would have everything you need ion the island.
    - - Isolation from main land can be a good and a bad thing. The good thing about isolation from other lands is that you are safe from wars not included with Japan. You are also safer (not completely though) from spread of disease not on the island.
  - - - These natural disasters can include volcanos, earthquakes, glaciers, tsunamis, and more. These disasters can lead to destruction of land and crops, death, and destruction of buildings. With a volcano eruption, there are a lot of negative outcomes, but it can help make the soil fertile for farming.
    - - Since Japan is an island, it is hard to get off the island to trade, communicate, and more with others not on the island. This non-communication between the lands can create a generation time gap between the places, possibly wars for differences of living and more.
    - - Japan's geography made it very hard to farm. 20% of japan was flat land, and most of that available land was used. SInce flat land is needed for farming, the japanese farm on hills, which is called terracing, where they carve out the hills so that the sections can hold water and plants.
