Shoulder shrug
She gave him a dismissive shrug.
Foot tap
When people tap their foot you know they are impatient.
She was tapping her foot impatiently on the ground.
Stammering
= speaking with hesitations and repeated letters
I stammered my apology.
Nodding head
= agreement, yes
Shaking the head
= negative, no
Biting nails
= nervous
Hands covering gaping mouth
=scared
Drumming your fingers
while someone else is talking.
Chin stroking
= think deeply
Hand on the chin or hands supporting the chin
Indicates evaluation or that negative thoughts are being held, that boredom has set in, or that a person is tired.

= an expression seen as bad-tempered or unfriendly that a woman has when she is relaxed and not thinking about how she is perceived
