Gatsby and Nick meet for the first time

WWI ends in 1919

Gatsby Learns that Daisy Married Tom "In June she married Tom Buchanan of Chicago, more pomp and circumstance than Louisville ever knew before"(75).

Nick moves to West Egg in NY and meets up on East Egg with Daisy, Jordan, and Tom

Nick and Jordan go to Gatsby's party and meet Jay Gatsby

Gatsby and Nick have Lunch in NYC

Nick meets Wolfsheire in the Speakeasy

Daisy and Gatsby meet at Nick's, then got to Gatsby's house and they fall in love again

Nick, Daisy, and Tom attend Gatsby's party

Gatsby stopped throwing parties

Tom, Nick, Daisy, Gatsby go out to lunch at Gatsby's the go downtown

Daisy panics and gets everyone to go downtown

Tom is putting pressure on Gatsby. Toms mistress and wife are now about to leave him

Gatsby rides with Daisy

Everyone is in the Plaza hotel

Tom is putting more pressure on Gatsby, asking him questions, and making personal remarks

Tom accuses Gatsby of "causing a row" and making love to his wife

Gatsby tells the truth about Daisy's allegiance . "She never loved you, do you hear"(130).

Gatsby almost attacks Tom

Tom and Gatsby begin to fight over daisy, first verbally but then eventually physically "Your wife, doesn't love you" pg. 130

Daisy says she loved tom but she loved gatsby too

Daisy is frightened by Gatsby attacking Tom

Daisy hits myrtle with the car

Myrtle thinks that Tom is driving by her house and is hit by Daisy, who was driving Tom's car
