WORKING PATTERNS
Flexible hours: You can come in when you want and leave when you want as long as you work a required period of time.
-
-
-
-
Compressed hours: You can work more hours in one day to compensate enough to make the required work time.
Advantages
(1) Workers can manage and organise their work time into different days (eg. more hours than another day but still reach the limit).
(2) On important days with a lot of work to do, the worker could spend more time on that day and spend less the next day.
Disadvantages
(1) On some days, less work could be done since the worker decided to work less on these days.
(2) Difficult for the company to keep track of as it's always based on the worker's decision that can be changed every time.
-
Part-time working: A form of employment that carries fewer hours than full-time, and can be shifted or rotated.
Advantages
(1) Increased productivity as the users will get less tired, since not working from a long period of time.
