Before writing, having a brainstorming on topics and content students want to write is the process they shouldn't never skip. This will help them inquire more themes and inspirations to write. Students can brainstorm by free writing, which gives students limited time, and not require them to focus on the style, spelling, grammar, or punctuation errors. Students also can break down the topic into levels or units, and ask six questions, which are who, what, when, where, why and how. Students will write each question word on a sheet of paper, then, write out some sentences or phrases in answer.
