As part of my fourth year of study I created (as part of a group) two semi-professional companies which involved working in a home for the old and frail with a section for those with Alzheimer's / Dementia and a children's home for PMLD, non verbal children. The first few workshops were challenging and unsuccessful and my colleagues and I had to reflect and improve our sessions. We managed this and had an extremely rewarding few months at each placement.
