Adaption - The special characteristics that enable plants and animals to be successful in a particular environment are called adaptations. Camouflage, as in a toad's ability to blend in with its surroundings, is a common example of an adaptation.
giraffes have adapted to the places with tall trees such as savannah and grasslands by evolving with the trees and growing longer necks
cats have adapted to their environment by developing sensitive ear muscles to listen for prey or predators. these muscles are also useful for sleeping because they listen for a single footstep and alert the cat to wake up.
Monkeys have evolved by having a tail that allows them to climb trees with much more saftey because they always have something to balance with or they can catch them selves on a branch or what ever they are climbing on. Monkeys brains make their feet like human's hands.
dogs have adapted to their outdoor habitat they have a very sensitive nose it can smell smell up to 40 feet underground. dogs can use their tails to express their feelings usually when their tails are up they are happy and when they are down they are unhappy or angry so you should go near it while its tails are down this is extremely useful for showing trust or anger to other animals or dogs.
Table Corals
Coral reefs tend to be vulnerable to damage from warmer waters, but at least one coral species may be able to adapt to the higher ocean temperatures that may come with climate change.
