we learned that Connor feels like he Is alone and this is quite evident because his closest friend bails on him and basically says I don't care If you die. Also his parents are having him unwound so they could care less about him.

Conor feels like hes alone and wants to kick AWOL with ariana. He finds out that be is being unwounded, his parents dont know that he knows but hes keeping the secret. He finds out that his parents only bought 3 tickets to the bahamas and it didnt include him.

He feels overwhelmed because so much is happening and he doesn't want to be alone

He finds out he's being unwounded one day when he goes to his fathers home office looking for a stapler

His friend, Ariana, doesn't want to go because she's not the one being unwounded and life is actually going alright for her.

while reading Connors story I've learned that Connor feels upset and betrayed by his parents. Connor feels alone without anyone to go on this journey with. Connor doesn't quite know how to handle being 'unwound'

Connor was mad when he found the unwinding order but took a more effective approach by doing better in school and he brought his mom flowers to make I took like he was changing

Corner feels he he is being abandoned because as he was labeled as an unwind ,the girl he thought would never leave flaked on him ,leaving him.

Connor's parents don't know that he knows he is being unwound so to make them feel bad and regret them unwounding him he has been good by getting his mom flowers and getting a B plus on the science test and he never done that before

The unfairness of the trip made his temperature rise, but he kept his cool and only he knows what he wants to do as the outcome. He was more self aware.
