Sedimentary: Rock that has formed through the repositioning and solidification of sediment moved by water, ice and wind.
Sedimentary: Rocks that have formed though deposition and solidification of sediment, especially sediment transported by water
Some examples of sedimentary rocks are shale (top), limestone (middle) and breccia (bottom)

Minerals: A naturally occurring, inorganic solid that has a crystal structure and a definite chemical composition.
Characteristics include naturally occurring. Naturally occurring means to exist by nature without any artificial aid. Minerals also need to be inorganic, meaning the object cannot arise from materials that were once part of a living thing. It also has to have a crystal structure. That means a mineral has to have a repeating pattern of particles that form a solid. A definite chemical composition is another characteristics of minerals.
Examples: Quartz is made of silicon and oxygen atoms. Fluorite is the mineral form of calcium fluoride. Pyrite is also known as iron pyrite. It's an iron sulfide.

Minerals form from cooled down magma, however must be 1 or more elements not combination of minerals
Rock Cycle: A process undergone by rocks in the Earths crust involving uplift, erosion, transportation, deposition, metamorphism, and remelting
Igneous Process: Rocks created by volcanos when they spew out lava or magma, the liquid will then harden into an intrusive or extrusive rock depending on where it hardens.
Igneous rocks can come from any type or rock, even other igneous rocks.
An example would be a block of Granite melting into magma and erupting onto Earth's surface to make obsidian
