Graphic Organizer
: Students in this group will research different math problems including word problems with multiple levels or parts to the parts that have overlaps in the meaning. They will make an organizer to creatively display this information. They can also prepare to present their work at a future date.
Students with average knowledge of the subject
These students answered many questions correctly, but still need to improve in some areas.

Think-Pair-Share
: Students can work individually on a skill covering prefixes and suffixes, and creating unique ways to try to solve problems. Students can then have time to talk and reflect on what they understood well and what they still had questions about. Then they can pair with another student and discuss the skill, their created ways, and any questions that they had regarding skill.
Students with limited knowledge of the subject
These students answered many of the questions on the pre-assessment incorrectly.

Individual Response Boards:
I will work personally with this group. I will introduce commonly used ways by using flashcards. To reinforce the concept, we will work through a variety of activities with the individual response boards. For example, I could state the skill/objective and students could write what I am asking of them to do in their own words.
Tracking Assessments:
Exit Tickets
: I will give students exit tickets at the end of each class, focusing on different aspects of each skill or standard. This will help me understand who is improving and who needs more help.
Homework:
I will assign short problems like one step or two steps as homework assignments to assess student understanding as we work through the unit.
