Yehchin Forging Co., LTD founder, Michael Hsieh, began studying metal forging in the 1980’s and worked in the transportation industry for over 15 years. In the summer of 1994, Taiwan was amidst what many refer to as the “Golden Age of Industry”, and it was then that Mr. Hsieh, along with investments from other industry partners, founded Yehchin Forging Co., LTD. Utilizing cold forging technology as its standard, Yehchin opened its first factory in Taoyuan, Taiwanto service the industry’s metal manufacturing needs.
At its inception, Yehchin began mass producing parts and accessories for local automotive corporations, such as SYM Motors, Kymco, and Aeon. In just a few years’ time, the company had expanded internationally, producing farming equipment for customers in Europe, and power tools for customers in Japan. Business was flourishing locally too, as demand for electric and pneumatic tools was on the rise. It was then, when they started producing motor parts for Shihlin Electric. In 2015, to meet the rising demand for diversified products and to increase customer trust, YehChin created dedicated departments for each product to enhance production precision and delivery.
For the future, YehChin plans to expand its number of production and testing equipment, while also improving productivity and automation ratio. YehChin’s philosophy is not only to be always expanding and improving, but also to continue to provide the industry with incomparable metal manufacturing services.
