A key role of management is leading and influencing others through communicating, motivating, relating and showing empathy.
Does ones ability to influence others relate to innate traits or is it based on common behaviours that they exhibit.
Transactional – is task focused. using what is in the self interest of the employee to get work achieved. If you do X I will give you Y.
Transformational – encourages loyalty and a sense of belonging for employees which motivates them to work towards achieves the vision of the company.
