feeling about love in "COLD IN THE EARTH"
1, Her lover is death for long time and her love to him
"cold in the earth", "deep snow", "far, far removed", "time all wearing wave", "have i forgot "
creating the atmosphere of death with feeling of cold and seasonal imagery through out the poem. This creates a large in the minds of the readers with a picture of a very significant lost in a person life like the lost of lovers.
Also shows the readers that it has been very long since the death of her lover with "far, far removed" and by using metaphor saying time wearing waves which create the feeling of time passing continuously in a person's mind and create a blank as time has passes by and by questioning her own memories we can see the fact that she's afraid of forgetting her lover to him shows the true lover of her for him.
2, She had been thinking of moving on
She stopped thinking of her lover all the time
"when alone, do my thoughts no longer hover" , "resting their wings ", "heath and fern- leaves cover that noble heart "
this showing that she no longer thinking of him all the time by saying her thoughts no longer hover over the mountain on Angora' shore which might be her memories of herself and her lover. . After that is the image of the noble heart being covered by the heath and fern-leaves, it might be the author describing the death of her lover has been buried in the past, showing she has started to forget the death of her lover
she giving excuses for her action of moving on
"fifteen wild December", "spring", " suffering", "powerless to destroy", "memories rapturous pain"
by giving the readers a seasonal image from december to spring, the poet had showed that time had passed by to make herself feels better for forgeting her lover
by telling the readers and her lover hwo she had been suffering from his death, she made it appear to be even more okay for her to move on by using the word "suffering' and "!" to adjust that it was time for her to move on. finally she asked we can see clearly that she had even asked her lover permosion to move on "forgive me if i forget you". Leaving us a question about her future, if she is really going to move on. j
3, her feeling of guilt

contrast in feeling, this shows the fight inside her between the idea of moving on or not. rhyme though out the whole poem which can be related to this had been happening since the death of her lover all the time which show she had been suffering to make the decision.
the rhyme appears through out the poem might also shows that her feeling to him won't change over time.
"faithful", "tide is bearing me along","strengthened and fed without aid of joy"
first she called herself faithful which clearly show the idea of her loyalty to her lover, criticize herself for just even thinking of moving on
the fight started to get tougher as she realized that life is moving on with or without her and if she doesn't move along she will be bearied in her own timeline.
or maybe the image of the tides shows us the image of the author being pulled back, showing that she is now needing the help of the tides, of the nature to pull her back from the temptation of moving on
4, statement of the importance of her lover
"no other sun", "no other star"
metaphor - she's comparing him to the sun and star, to show his importance, the sun represent he is the only one and the energy resource, the star represent there are many stars but the matter is none of them are the right one.
fed without the aid of joy
at this moment we can see that she had decided to stay loyal to him even when that means she has to move on with her life without happiness.
