CORPORAL MOSTYN PRYCE & TIARE & DESMONDS DAD carry the imagery of the disturbing things they witnessed

For Coporal Mostyn Pryce it is through his personal acccounts of what he tells his families in his letter...the imagery he uses of the guy with the mostly severed hand and the boy he saved with his handkerchief.
Grief of losing their mates and not being able to do anything about it.
They cant fit back into their normal lives if they are lucky enough to come home because of all the crap they have seen/done.

People at home (families) send all their good food/clothes etc to the soldiers so they can fight. Because so many workers are away fighting, factories dont produce much things and not a lot of food is grown because the farmers have gone to war so people end up rationing food etc so some people nearly starve.

Lack of trust in anyone to understand what you went through.
Keep to themselves because no one can possible comprehend what they are going through.
