Temples and Tombs
The pylon temples were built for the Gods. every god or goddess had a temple. The pylon gate was decorated with statues of the pharaoh, gods and goddesses. The pylon temple was a place for the pharaoh and the priests to worship the gods.
A tomb is a house, chamber or vault for the dead. The original purpose of a tomb was to protect the dead and provide the deceased with a dwelling equipped with necessities for the afterlife
