Why We Fidget
-Fidgeting distracts a part of the brain that becomes bored so the other parts can pay attention to what we’re doing like reading, hearing, or seeing.

-Fidget spinners have additional benefits for kids with ADD, ADHD, autism, and countless special needs applications

-Fidget spinners help with stress and anxiety relief
-Fidget spinners improve overall concentration and focus / attention to detail
Kids with ADHD use the spinners to stay on task and focus. Schools have found that kids with the disorder that when they keep their hands busy, they perform better.

-The greater the speed of rotation, the greater the outward force -The faster it rotates the greater the force
-If you move further out on the merry-go-round, you will have to exert a greater force to stay on.

In a perfect world, we would test students with ADHD. The students would learn 2 chapters of material in a class. Their grades would be recorded. Next, they would learn two chapters worth of material while they have access to a spinner when they begin to get distracted.
