Mind map- Teacup uses subjective language as the author has used personal experiences, feelings, emotions and aesthetics as inspiration for her book. As the writing is subjective the meaning or ideas being conveyed are open to interpretation. Students are to create a mind map, about what they think personally the books main idea is. Give the students some options of the ideas explored in the book; Refugees, migration, growing up, learning through rough times.
