How we attracted our audience
Uses & Gratifications Theory
Escapism
The morning routine with unsettling stalker shots immediately brings the audience into the character's life, allowing them to become immersed in the character's life and escape the routine of their own.
Enhance Social Interactions
The use of enigma codes and the questions raised as a result can enhance social interactions as groups discuss the opening and speculate about who the stalker is and what they're going to do next
To be entertained
The suspense built up throughout with the music and alternate perspectives is interesting and entertaining for an audience
Identify with characters
Our main character is a working woman in her twenties who the females in the audience will be able to relate to. The males in the audience may struggle to relate to her but hopefully her personality makes up for this and in the rest of the film there won't be a gender bias.
