Treatment
Remove wet clothing, dry person with towel then replace wet clothing with warm dry clothing.
Cover person with warm dry blankets, sleeping bags, towels, whatever's available. Cover head and torso first.

Do not attempt to massage to get the blow flow going, this could cause cardiac arrest
Do not forcefully move the hypothermic person it can cause cardiac arrest, instead try shelter them or if they can move try help them get inside warm blankets/sleeping bags etc

Signs/Symptoms

Confusion
If you ask if they're drunk they'll deny it but most will think they are and therefore won't think they need medical attention
Excessive shivering
They may begin to shiver uncontrollably if this occurs try and warm them or get to a medical centre immediately
Slowed breathing
After a couple of minutes into hypothermia the body will try save energy for warming up by slowing breathing.
Prevention
If clothing is damp, remove and replace with warm dry clothing
If beginning to shiver or show the 'umbels symptoms then warm them inside sleeping bags, blankets or any available heat source to warm them.
