Preparing for Year 11 exams
Problem
Must ensure that I study thoroughly whilst balancing other aspects of life
Must remember terminology
Must have a general and thorough idea of what has been taught and must know the sub topics
Must have detailed knowledge of topic
Must be able to balance extra curricular homework at the same time both on Saturdays and Sundays
Soultions
Write out terminology as soon as possible and keep writing out terminology till day of the assessment
Write out flashcard and practice whenever possible
Rewrite notes after ever lesson that summarises the lesson
Get sticky notes and write homework, important dates, assessment dates on sticky notes and stick them on the front of book then go through sticky notes in sequenced order
Get a whiteboard and organise week and cross out each task and/or assessment you get through
Ensure you give yourself a ten minute break every thirty minutes in order to give your brain a break
Organise and delegate tasks for each day on your whiteboard
Use Lunchtimes to do and reduce the amount of homework so you can focus on assessments at home
Balance and maintain a healthy lifestyle
Exercise
Ensure your mood is sustained. If you have a bad day then do something to lift your mood as a good mood ensure that you are productive. Give yourself time, eat comfort food to bring you mood up, exercise, listen to a good song
Reward yourself when you accomplish something. This will motivate you. Reward yourself by watching a movie, eating something nice, hanging out with friends, texting someone, listening to music, bake something nice
