Ordeal by Fire is when you walk 3-4 paces with a red hot iron in hands.
Ordeal by Combat is when fight between the accused and the accuser.

Medieval Crime and Punishment
Trail by jury is used for all people but the more serious crimes and trial by ordeal is used for the most serious crimes.
Trial by ordeal was intended to determine if a person was innocent or guilty. It was believed that God would help the innocent by performing a miracle on their behalf.
Torture was deemed a legitimate means to extract confessions of obtain the names of accomplices or other information about a crime. Torture was conducted in private, unlike public trials and executions.
Catherine's wheel was you were spun on a wheel and then asked questions and if you didn't answer them they would hit your limbs with a metal rod.
To be hanged, drawn and quartered was from 1351 a statutory penalty in England for men convicted of high treason. For reasons of public decency, women convicted of high treason were instead burned at the stake.
Other ways of punishment are fines, shaming, cutting off body parts, public stocks, and death.
Ducking Stool is when they tie people to a chair and repeatedly dunked you in water.
Scold's Bridle is used to prevent someone from talking and its a metal thing on their mouths.
