The wants change when you get older and you feel the need to have different types of things.
The needs of different aged people will be different because young people will not need the same things that elderly people need
Convenience
Some people do not have much time to shop, so if a shop is quick and easy it would be good for these people.
If a shop is selling the exact product someone needs they will go there
Service
Good customer service from shops will make a customer want to go back and keep buying the products
If somewhere has bad service people will be put off and will not want to go back to it

The price plays an important role because most people will want to pay a certain amount because they might not have enough money to get the top quality prosucts.
Some people will want cheap things and will buy in quantity for a low price
