Who benefited from Nazi rule?
Working men

The Nazis set up the 'Beauty of Labour' organisation to persuade employers to improve working conditions in factories. Two of its slogans were 'Good ventilation in the work place' and 'Hot meals in the factory.'
The Nazi's stopped paying unemployment benefit to anyone who refused to join a job scheme. Workers on job schemes were paid less than they had received when they were on unemployment benefit
Manufacture
The Nazis increased working hours in factories but kept wages low.
Army
The Nazis made all teenage boys practise military drill in the Hitler Youth or at school, to prepare them for becoming soldiers.
The Nazis bought a lot of vehicles, weapons and uniforms from manufacturers to equip its massive army.
The Nazis wanted strong armed forces so they recruited one million unemployed men into the army.

Working Women
The Nazi's gave special awards to mothers who had four or more children for service to the Fatherland
The Nazis thought women should be housewives and mothers not workers, so they sacked many female doctors, civil servants and teachers.
Jews
The Nazi's blamed the Jews for Germany's problems. They declared 600,000 Jews 'racially inferior'. They boycotted Jewish shops and closed down Jewish businesses
Owners of small shops
The Nazi's abolished trade unions
Farmers
The Nazi's ordered that every hen in Germany lay 65 eggs each year. If it did not, it should be slaughtered.
