Development/ Growth of location and transport infrastructure
Most of the islands' resort are located near the coast e.g) Negril and Montego Bay is in the north west
This is because the beaches , the national park and marine parks are located here.
The weather and scenery here are aesthetic
=> Locating resort here helps to attract customers & reduce transport costs of taking tourists to the area

Relatively good road network with highway 2000 liking settlements the S&N coast serving the North of the island
2 international airports : Norman Manley (Kingston) & Sangster (Montego Bay)
