It makes the file smaller and good for website and very easy to download.

Can get blurry, it is bitmap.

Lossy - which is it would get compress some information and is not replaceable.

PNG - Portable Network Graphics

Means it is lossless - which is better, it has a high resolution.

The quality is larger file size then JPEG.

HTML 5 - Hyper Text Markup Language - Version 5

It lastet version of the language used to programme web pages.The version 5 allows video.

EXE - A program that runs.

This is a file extension for an executable file format. An executable is a file format that contains a program.

This file can be run by a program in Microsoft DOS or windows through a command or a double click.

DOC

This contains formatted text, images, tables, graphs and charts.

This is an document that does belong to microsoft word. It doesn't open with a standard because you will have to go on it you can’t view it easily, this is a proprietary file.

OGG -
It is an open source audio a sound file, which means that anyone can open it and can compress it.

PDF - It is a file type that allows to capture and send documents.

Can not edit and can be printed for everyone.

MP3 - Audio

Means of compressing a sound sequence into a very small file, to enable digital storage.

WAV - Waveform Audio File Format

It is the main format used on Windows systems and typically uncompressed audio.
