Battle of Valley Forge:

Bad things; No food, 1 in 4 soldiers had shoes, diseases killed over 2500 men.

Battle of Bunker Hill:
The patriots attempted in building defense on Breed's hill to attack the British, but failed.
The British won, and captured the fort.

Battle of Saratoga:
The British gained a small victory over the americans but when they attacked again, the were defeated.
One major reason this was a turning point was it showed the french that the americans are able to win so they stepped up their game.
These two battles were fought 18 days apart in 1777 and was a huge turning point for the American Revolution.
Battle of Yorktown:
Washington gave up his hopes of taking New York and resulted in this battle. so with the help of French navy and soldiers, they showed just how skillful he was at general.
So we took Yorktown, in Virginia and won.
This was a delicate game of chess that Washington won also the last major battle in the revolutionary war.
Washington resigns:

George Washington resigns as commander, he refused to allow it.
He kept the country together by officer's rebellion, and constitutional convention. He later became our first president of our newly established gov.
The Three Estates:
2nd Estate: The Nobles, wealthy people.

Happened because the people of France wanted to end the Monarchy,aristocracy,and mainly the control of church over their lives.
Ultimately they gained control but because of this Robespierre caused his own death by the guillotine.

he is best known for his laws of planetary motion, he also made several other contributions to scientific history.
while his first two laws focus on the specific's of a single planets moving, where as this law focuses on the orbit of two planets.
