The purpose of Panamanian education is to foster in the student a national conscience based on the knowledge of history and the problems of the homeland.
Education Guarantees
Freedom of education is guaranteed and the right to create private teaching centers is recognized subject to the Law.
Educational establishments are open to all pupils, regardless of race, social status, political views, religion or the nature of the union of their parents or guardians.
Students acquire greater knowledge of science, history, civics, geography, technologies, art and techniques

Only the academic and professional qualifications issued by the State or authorized by the State in accordance with the Law.
