GLOBAL WARMING
EFFECTS AND CONSEQUENCES
-
-
-
-
-
-
Weather patterns change and there is is more hot, dry weather
-
-
-
More greenhouse gases in the atmosphere absorb and trap heat resulting in an increase in temperature
HOW TO HELP/REDUCE
-
-
-
-
Use renewable energy sources, reduce, reuse, recyle
-

CAUSES
Deforestation - trees absorb carbon dioxide. The fewer trees then the less carbon dioxide is absorbed, adding the amount of greenhouse gas in the atmosphere
Methane in the atmosphere from, for example, animals and rice paddies
When we burn fossil fuels, they give off carbon dioxide and methane which are greenhouse gases. Seeing as though heat from the Earth is absorbed in these greenhouse gases it makes sense that more gas there is, the warmer it will be
