Journal articles often have mixed outcomes and thus specific interventions are not often recommended by authors
Resources
Literature search
Abundance of literature identified through database search evaluate the effectiveness of interventions for neglect
Identified literature has been appraised to determine the relevance of studies, appropriate methodological design (sample selection and allocation; inclusion and exclusion criteria and outcome measures)
Limited literature that evaluates effectiveness of specific visual-perceptual impairments. Studies often have a a broad definition of a classification of impairments rather than specific impairments, e.g. cognitive impairments rather than praxis
Textbooks
There are published texts that recommend impairment specific activities for treatment and modififying therapy to increase functional performance (Zoltan, 2007; Gillen 2009; Edmans 2010; Meriano & Latella 2016)
