Leave Germany strong enough to trade but punish them enough to keep people at home happy and get justice for them

Keep Britain's Navy strong, intact and make it stronger to achieve the perception of a strong naval force

Lawyer - known to be a clever talker

Doesn't like Wilson's point that suggests Britain gives freedom to its colonies

Doesn't trust Clemenceau (Clemenceau already tried to hit him)
