Hormones like adrenaline pump through due to fear. The signal for fear is sent to the Endocrine system that releases hormones directly into the blood stream to maintain its homeostasis.
Once the fear passes through the nervous system adn endocrine system, the sheep could urinate itself due to fear and stress.
Fight or flight system- chooses to flight and freezes up in automatic reaction. When a sheep gets scared the system sends signals of flight or fright to the brain.A sheep hears a coyote cry and begins to get scared. Parts of the nervous system send signals to the brain to become scared.
As the sheep becomes more and more scared from the coyote the animal starts to breathe harder and harder bringing the respiratory system into play. As the animal starts to breathe harder its heart rate increases.
As the heart rate in the sheep increases the circulatory system starts to work harder and harder until the coyote moves or the owner helps the sheep and the sheep starts to relax
