What is Brain Cancer?
Tumors in the brain that can happen to anyone at any age. Tumors can be malignant or benign, only malignant tumors are cancerous.Major brain tumors usually form in the brain tissue.
Symptoms
Headaches
Seizures
Nausea or Vomiting
Personality or Memory Change
Drowsiness
Sleeping Problems
Vision challenges
How do you get brain cancer?
The actual cause is unsure but there are symptoms that can be the cause.
Radation to the head
HIV infection
Cigarettes/ Smoking
Genetic Risk
Treatment/ Medication
Radio therapy
High energy waves mostly x-rays are used to treat a disease. The rays destroy cancer cells in the area that it is used in. The downfall is that radio therapy can also damage normal cells in the process.
Chemo Therapy
A drug that is used to treat any disease. Chemo kills cancer cells and kill the cancer cells that have traveled through the body, away from the main tumor.
Surgery
Sometimes surgeons cannot remove the whole tumor because, it might cause too much damage to the body. So instead surgeons perform surgery and remove as much of the tumor as they can.
