Nature Books Perfect for BiomimicryMulti-Level Book on Biomimicry
Biomimicry allows students to investigate a variety of examples of biomimicry from Velcro to antireflective computer screens and more. The book can also be used to teach ways to determine the author's point of view and how to correctly use dashes in sentence. The book and lesson are also available for levels Y and Z2.

Lesson Ideas
Ask Nature - In primary can serve as tool for teacher ideas; in upper grades could be used for student research/discovery. They also have K-12 lesson toolkit - direct link for biomimicry resources.
Have students explore different protections in nature (shells, etc.) and figure how they are useful. Have students pair those features to needs of people.
