We run a low-cost, high-volume spay-neuter program. We provide subsidized spay-neuter services for companion animals belonging to people from the lower income category, for animal rescuers and people caring for strays in their communities. Neutering is a proactive measure that stops the overpopulation crisis at source – unlike other short-term solutions such as dog-catching and euthanasia which are ineffective, expensive and short-sighted.
We are pleased to say that the Dept of Veterinary Services (DVS) shares our vision of a Stray Free Malaysia, which we can achieve through more effective legislation, active neutering or pets and strays, differential licensing and public education!
