Gestational diabetes occurs at a rate of 9.2% in the United States. While gestational diabetes may disappear after the pregnancy, it is thought that the previous presence of diabetes can effect fetal programming, like the child’s post-natal diet patterns.The purpose of this study is to analyze long-term effects of gestational diabetes on the child’s weight, glucose control, and physical activity.
Subproblem 2. Null Hypothesis: Children born to mothers with gestational diabetes have good glucose control.

Using professional recommendations, establish and define "good" and "poor" glucose control.
Subproblem 3. Null Hypothesis: Children born to mothers with gestational diabetes will have more moderate to high physical activity than children born to healthy mothers.

Use SPSS to determine if there is a relationship between total activity and children whose mothers had GDM.
