CAN PEACE LEAD TO WAR?
SOURCE A
In this source there are some things that stand out more than others.
The first thing that caught my eye was why is the child staving. The German mother said to her starving child 'When we have paid one hundred billion marks then I can give you something to eat'
-
At this time after the war the whole country was in poverty. German was mad to pay for everything whether they did it or not. This links in to what the German mother was talking about in the source.
Another thing that I notice when looking at this image, is that there is a bed in the kitchen. This to me means that this family (like many other german families at this time) are living in poverty.
SOURCE A
In this image there are two things that I would think this woman and many others may have lost during this period of time .
Due to the father/male figure not being there this also gives the impression that there is no source of income and this has also payed a major part in why they are living in such poor conditions.
One thing that stands out a lot is that is no father/male figure in this image. This to me suggests that he has possibly died or went to war.
SOURCE B
The Treaty Of Versailles was made after WW1 had ended. This peace treaty was created by the big three and it was designed to restrict German from doing certain things.
I think that this source shows how stupid some of the actions by these men were. The big three, (France,USA & Britain) were the most powerful at the time and were the people that created the Treaty Of Versailles.
I believe the war was just a quicker way to kill off humans. I also believe that the men knew what they were getting into and they joined because the war couldn't be worse than there life as such.
SOURCCE B
This source has lead me to believe that the big three some what regretted their decisions during and after the war.

The actions of many Germans were nor just or wise. The Germans were inhumane enemies and I believe that the treaty angered them.
