greenstick fracture
-
A greenstick fracture occurs when a bone bends and cracks, instead of breaking completely into pieces. it is like when to break "green" branch on a tree. Even mild greenstick fractures are usually immobilized in a cast. In addition to holding the cracked pieces of the bone together so they can heal, a cast can help prevent the bone from breaking all the way through if the child falls on it again.

bowing fracture
bowing fracture is the same as the greenstick because the fracture resembles a young green twig being bent.
There are three kinds of greenstick fractures Transverse fracture - fracture halfway across the bone.
Torus/buckling fracture - cortex is buckled and overlapped, caused by impaction.
Bowing fracture - bent bone with no distinct cortex disruption.
The bowing fracture is most common in the forearm, but they can also occur in the fibula.
-
Shin Splints
Symptoms often come on gradually and consist of pain over the inside lower part of the tibia or shin bone. There may be pain at the start of exercise which often eases as the session continues only to come back worse later in the training session or afterwards.

Osteoporosis
-
Osteoporosis is a bone disease that occurs when the body loses too much bone, makes too little bone, or both. As a result, bones become weak and may break from a fall or, in serious cases, from sneezing or minor bumps.
Scoliosis
-
Scoliosis is a sideways curvature of the spine that occurs most often during the growth spurt just before puberty. While scoliosis can be caused by conditions such as cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy, the cause of most scoliosis is unknown.
Arthritis
-
-
Arthritis is very common but is not well understood. Actually, “arthritis” is not a single disease; it is an informal way of referring to joint pain or joint disease.
Leukemia
-
Leukemia symptoms vary, depending on the type of leukemia. Common leukemia signs and symptoms include:
Fever or chills
Persistent fatigue, weakness
Frequent or severe infections
Losing weight without trying
Swollen lymph nodes, enlarged liver or spleen
Easy bleeding or bruising
Recurrent nosebleeds
Tiny red spots in your skin (petechiae)
Excessive sweating, especially at night
Bone pain or tenderness
Leukemia symptoms are often vague and not specific. You may overlook early leukemia symptoms because they may resemble symptoms of the flu and other common illnesses.
