Bev, the Slurm vending machine and ex of Bender Bending Rodriguez, works as a single Vending machine. She works 3 jobs as a vending machine to allow Ben Vending Rodriguez to live a decent life.
Ben Vending Rodriguez grows up and goes to vending school where he abandons his dreams of becoming a Bender, like his father.
Ben Vending Rodriguez goes on to live a miserable life as a vending machine. He hates being a vending machine and he hates his father for abandoning him. His family is falling apart and he is doomed to be a Slurm machine for eternity.

When Ben Vending Rodriguez goes on Ancestry.com he realizes that Bender is his dad. Bender reveals that he knew Ben was his son, but didn't want Ben to be disappointed that he was his father.

Ben Vending Rodriguez grows up and after his Bat Mitzvah his father, Bender Bending Rodriguez decides his son, Ben Vending Rodriguez should be happy and live out his dream of being a bending robot. He takes out his memory card and puts in a bending card. He goes on to become the best bender in the world and is very well known for his abilities.
Ben Vending Rodriguez does not remember his father and grows up sad, but happy that he can bend. He becomes one of the best benders in the universe, but is lonely without a family.

Ben wakes up and realizes who his father is. He goes to his job and is distraught that he cannot complete one simple bending job. He becomes depressed because his status as best bender in the world is lost. He leaves New New York leaving his father and the crew behind. He is happy he knows who his father is, but bending was the world to him.
Ben wakes up and knows who his father is. Ben feels like everything makes sense and is excited that he knows his father. He realizes he doesn't really care about bending, he just wants to have a relationship with his father. They bond and live a happy life as kleptomaniacs.
