Two Important Poems
The Odyssey
Talks about the fall in troy, 10-year struggle to return home after the Trojan War. While Odysseus battles mystical creatures and faces the wrath of the gods, his wife Penelope and his son Telemachus stave off suitors vying for Penelope's hand and Ithaca's throne long enough for Odysseus to return. (Part 2)
The Iliad
set three millennia ago, during the final year of the Trojan War, a conflict in which Greek warriors sailed the Aegean to what is now Turkey and besieged the citadel of Troy for ten years. (Part 1)
Demonstrading greatness
Homer demonstraded greatness and a very good role model since described the Trojan War in such a different way. He helped millions of people understand something so important in a very formal and inteligent way
Born or made?
In my opinion, he as born to be a very good poet. The kind of talent that Homer had is not unique and it is not something that he just learned from school or someone. His talent is really important and made him the person that he is today. Adding to my point, loosing his sight also made him the person that he was since it made a big impact.
Event Making Men
It is easy to point out that he is an event making man. Since all the things that he did was from scrach and all made by himself. Homer was a very inteligent man and even though somethings of his life are not recorded exactly we know that what he did was very well done.
