GMOs will be needed in the next 50 years because the human population is said to exceed 9 billion in 2050 and with conventional methods feeding this many people would be impossible
Counter Claim:
What's the point in feeding the entire world if that food the chance to cause cancer or spread a disease and kill them anyway.
Counter argument Yes but actually there have been no reported cases of GMOs spreading diseases/cancer so that wouldn't happen. (it was almost a good reason)
