animal safety and not being cruel to a animal
obesity in animals
back fire on enviroment
GMOs can be contagious to other organic crops
allergic reactions
research has shown side effects
confusion on labeling
without labels people cannot make their own eating choice
Benefits
Help end world hunger
producticity will go up 1.5 times in Africa using GM seeds that are drought tolerant
resistance to disease/virus
Gmo Hawaiian papaya is resistant now to the ringspot virus
grew 25 more crops then the natural papaya
don't need to use pesticide
healthier or more nutritious
golden rice has vitamin A

Claim: One major benefit of GMOs is that they provide more food.
Evidence: increase the food supply, help underfed nations, and assist farmers(Gmo’s-Pros and cons).
COUNTERCLAIM: If we give them the food then how about if they are allergic to the substances that are in the "GMO". So that is practically canceling the giving them food out.
Counter argument: Some GMOs are resistance to diseases and viruses and not all GMOs are bad for you.
Claim: One concern is that they haven't been tested enough to be used and can spread more diseases.
Evidence:
Genes can be modified to make crops more resilient when it comes to disease, especially those spread through insects. This can lead to higher crop yields, which many experts argue can help to feed people in developing countries(Pros and cons of genetically modified foods).
