Houses of Parliament
House of Lords - The House of Lords is the least powerful house in Parliament. It is made up of the Royal Family, and few select "powerful" people as well. So ultimately, the House of Lords are mostly just figure-heads.
House of Commons- The House of commons is the most powerful part of Parliament. They are who decide who the Prime Minister will be.
Emanuel Villegas

Once the prime minister is elected the parliament can kick out the Prime Minister again with a vote of no confidence.
